INTRODUCTIONHwang Gallery welcomes applications from artists around the world to hold their exhibitions at Hwang Gallery. As an up-and-coming player in New York’s art scene, Hwang Gallery is well-known within art communities, both locally and in Asia. As a non-profit organization, our long-term plan is to serve as a professional and choice venue for international art communities. Hwang Gallery’s focus revolves around solo and group exhibitions, showcasing contemporary artists and hosting musically inclined art seminars. Through these insightful and informative exhibitions, Hwang Gallery hopes to play a vital role in educating and promoting the growth of the contemporary artistic communities.
THE SPACEHwang Gallery is situated in downtown Flushing, the core of New York City's Asian community. Hwang Gallery contains an exhibition area of 1,300 square feet, which provides a cozy yet spacious environment to display art works. We have movable wall panels in the center of the room, thus giving the artists more freedom to present their works in innovative ways. The gallery is also equipped with professional sound, video, and lighting systems, all of which are well-obscured to avoid stealing attention from the art pieces that are showcased. The ambiance of the gallery, with its ample capacity and professional equipment, is conducive to the enjoyment of both the viewer and the artist. Artists must familiarize themselves with the features and limitations of the gallery space before submitting an application. Floor Plan: http://hwanggallery.com/about/floor-plan/
